| Stress can affect our lives in many ways. It can take toll both mentally and physically. Stress, if it bad enough can cause a heart attack. It can bring about depression and nervous habits. It can your life miserable and that of those around you. There are many reasons for stress. The economy, your job, marital problems (usually caused by stress),money. Just getting through each day is stressful. If you find yourself in this situation there are a few things you can do to help yourself deal with it. See your Doctor and ask for advice. Perhaps you need medication to help you. Find someone who you trust and can confide in. Sometimes just talking about what is bothering you can help tremendously.Talking to someone is often a great stress reliever. Treat yourself kindly at the end of a long day. Find things that may help you to relax. Enjoy a soak in the tub, relax by the fire, go for a walk. Physical activity often helps you to relax. Spend time with people that you enjoy being with. Deal head on with whatever is causing you problems. Don't sweep problems under the rug because it will only get worse. Professional help is out there to get you through it.
